Julian Emery is a renowned producer and songwriter. He began as a session guitarist, working with Atomic Kitten, Enrique Iglesias, Taylor Swift, and Pop Idol.
His songwriting career was launched at Island Records/Warner Chappell with McFly & Matt Willis. Since then, he has worked in major studios worldwide, building a diverse catalogue of hits for many of the Worlds’ leading recording artists:
Nothing But Thieves, Taylor swift, McFly, Lissie, Gavin Degraw, Louis Fonsi, Simple Plan, Michelle Branch, Kelly Clarkson, Chaka Khan, Jason Mraz, Gabrielle Aplin, Halestorm, Jack Savoretti, , Annie Lennox, Blue, Will Young, Atomic Kitten, Kym Marsh, Enrique Iglesias, Alex Hepburn, Boyzone, Olly Murs, Rag’n’Bone Man.
In addition to artist projects, he continues to compose for major film, TV, and advertising campaigns, with clients including Universal, Sony, and EA Sports.
As a session guitarist, James Graydon has played on a wide variety of genres. From Westlife to Elvis Presleys’ “If I Can Dream”. To classical crossover projects for Placido Domingo and Jackie Evancho.
From 2014 until present, he has worked as an arranger & producer on various projects with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.
He has toured the World with Elaine Paige as guitarist and backing vocalist since 2015.
As an in demand music coach for major films, he worked as personal coach to Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), Will Ferrell & Rachel McAdams (Eurovision), Steve Coogan & John C Reilly (Stan & Ollie) and Pistol (Danny Boyle).
Since signing to Sony in 2003, He has composed music and songs for Film & Television. His music has featured on Oprah Winfrey, British Airways and many major global brands.
